The flooding occurs along the Huang He River (Yellow River). The river is 3,395 miles long and it goes through many major cities and villages. When it floods it kills millions of people, yet, people still go to it to get water.
The Huang He River (a.k.a. the Yellow River) is a river that streches for 3,400 miles and is one of China's biggest economic resource. Though, the polution is overwheming and the flooding is also a major problem. China needs to find a way to resolve these issues if they want to keep using this river for economic purposes.
